Public Transit Passes Program.

Since July 1, 2006, the Government of Canada is encouraging Canadians to use public transit with a tax credit on the cost of weekly or longer duration transit passes. The tax credit is applicable for buses, streetcars, subways, commuter trains and local ferries.
